I started SMA Medical Supply in 2007, five years after my daughter was diagnosed with SMA Type I. My mission continues to be to provide SMA families with affordable medical equipment and supplies, and to reduce the burden of obtaining these important devices and day-to-day necessities. I am very proud to join so many other SMA families, many of whom are my customers and friends, to help bring Dr. Kaspar’s gene therapy science to human trials in the very near future. It is the patronage of my hundreds of loyal customers that allows me to make this donation. I make it with a grateful heart on their behalf, in honor of my daughter Sydney, and with hope for her, and all children like her, who dream of what life might be like without spinal muscular atrophy. ~Dana Craven
